Hello,
I'm John Shannon. I am a native of Tucson,Az.
I was first introduced to the Native American Style Flute (NASF) several years ago at a local street fair where I fell in love with the beautifully haunting voice of the NASF. Time passed and finally in 2004 I acquired my first NASF. It was hard to believe just how easy it was to play! I don't know how to read music and have no musical training but the beautiful melodies just kept pouring out! Ever since I play my NASF on a daily basis.
In November of 2008 I began crafting flutes of my own with the aid of Keith Stanford's "flute making manual"
